This fully automated razor Scribe Machine was custom-engineered to meet specific client requirements. The client sought to apply intricate serial number markings to razor products with a hardness rating of up to 65 HRC, while maximizing automation to minimize manual labor. After evaluating various Dot Peen And Scribe Marking solutions, the client ultimately selected this highly cost-effective approach. Upon receiving the "start marking" signal and serial number data from the MES, a pneumatic ejection mechanism pushes a single razor blade into a guide chute; precise feeding is achieved through the accurate control of the ejection stroke and the use of two custom-height guide rails. By eliminating the need for height adjustments—and thus foregoing adjustable stands in favor of reinforced fixed mounts—the system, combined with a diamond-tipped Scribing Needle and high-pressure pneumatic settings, perfectly fulfills the client's marking specifications. At the end of the guide chute, space has been allocated to accommodate the dimensions of the client's packaging cartons; once marked, the razors drop directly into the cartons, where they are simply placed into blister trays to complete the packaging process. A single operator can simultaneously manage four of these machines, thereby achieving the client's daily production target of marking 5,000 razor blades.
